mission

I have been working as a CNA since 1993; caring for seniors from Kansas to Montana, with and without Alzheimer's or dementia, each of whom were a blessing to me. Born in Red Bluff, CA, at the age of 1, my family moved to a farm in Winona, KS; this is where I was raised and developed a love for animals and the desire to help the elderly.

With encouragement to further my education, I became a certified Home Health Aide (HHA), CNA, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), EMT-B, EMT-I, Training Officer and Instructor Coordinator. While in Kansas, I served as the Thomas County EMS Education Director for 7 years. After moving to Montana, my education continued & I received my Assisted Living Facility Administrator Certification in 2021, Certified Death Midwife in 2023, and in 2024 Phlebotomy Tech Certification.

I was married in January 2020 to my best friend Troy Carper. I have 3 wonderful children and have been blessed with 6 grandchildren. Our canine fur babies include Liza Jane, Willow & Ruby. Our feline fur babies include Annie & Maizy.

 

After living in Montana and having the opportunity to work in the Flathead Valley since 2011, I'm excited and honored to bring Sunflower Companions LLC to Kalispell & the surrounding communities. Working with the elderly (and their families) to help keep them at home truly fulfills my dreams. I am blessed to be a part of this community.
